Lawrence County 4-H offers 4-H Projects that members can choose based on their interests, abilities, and the places where they live. The program includes projects, events, and activities through local clubs, special interest clubs, school-based programs, after-school programs, and individual memberships. Members can also compete with their projects in contests at the local, state, regional, and national levels, with projects involving hands-on learning, setting goals, and evaluating their progress.

Everything done in Lawrence County 4-H emphasizes the core values of leadership, civic engagement, and life skills. The mission statement explains that the program is about people sharing, doing, and learning together in all kinds of projects, events, and activities through different types of clubs and programs. Clubs allow youth to work in partnership with caring adults to learn more about animals, art, music, food, health, and more.
