Summerside Camps at SCH Academy

Summerside Camps at SCH Academy offers creative and engaging summer programs that include STEM, arts, sports, outdoor adventures, and a themed day camp with special events. Campers can take part in activities such as Ceramics, Textiles, Theater, Nature, and Science across more than 40 different camp options. The program describes itself as offering “all the sides of summer,” in the words of Amber Carroll, Director of Summer Programs.

• Schedule: 10-week program running from June 8 to August 14, 2026 (closed June 19 and July 3)

Summerside Camps at SCH Academy is led by Amber Carroll, Director of the Summerside program, and Andy Morris, Director of Summer Camps at SCH. The program states that it fosters confidence, friendships, and a love of nature in an inclusive and fun environment. Summerside Transportation is available, including bussing for Center City and Northwest Philadelphia campers supported by transportation partner Shuttlebee. The campus is described as an urban oasis with extensive trails and natural surroundings. SCH Academy’s broader community includes a 2019 World Champion Robotics Team and long-standing partnerships with agencies that support Pennsylvania wildlife and their natural habitats.
