Work to Ride Summer Camp

Work to Ride Summer Camp offers horseback riding camp for ages 8-13, Little Kids Specialty Camp for ages 5-7, and Summer Camp for ages 5-13. Camp runs Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with activities that include barn chores, equine education, exploration of Fairmount Park, riding twice a day, games, and arts and crafts. The camp runs rain or shine, and camps are limited to 20 campers per week.

• Horseback Riding Camp — 8-13 · 9:00 am-4:00 pm · $525 per session · Eight one-week camp sessions; participants may select multiple weeks.
• Little Kids Specialty Camp — 5-7 · Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-4:00 pm · $525
• Polo Camp — 8+ · AM or PM · $275 · For youth who want to try polo for the first time or improve skills. AM and PM sessions have different rider requirements.

About the provider

Work to Ride was founded in 1994. It is a nonprofit community-based prevention program that aids under-resourced urban youth through activities centered on horsemanship, equine sports, and education. The program is nationally recognized and provides underserved Philadelphia youth with free, full-access equestrian experiences.

Registration is not complete until payment is received. Camp fees are non refundable. $10 fee to change/move week if space allows; changes cannot be guaranteed. No refunds. Camps run rain or shine; inclement weather activities are held inside.
