Magic Memories Early Learning Schools offers programs for infants 6 weeks and older, toddlers, preschool, pre-K, before and after care, and summer camp. Classrooms are designed for one small group of each age, and teachers help with potty training. Several schools participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

The centers operate as a STAR 4 within the Keystone STARS program and are operated as a Keystone STAR 4 program. State-of-the-art sanitization using a Zono sanitizing cabinet is used at the Collegeville, Norristown, Phoenixville, Plymouth Meeting, and Royersford locations for cleaning porous and non-porous items like toys and learning materials. Spacious outdoor playgrounds with climbers and slides and large classrooms with plenty of toys and tools are part of the environment, along with outdoor playgrounds for daily exploration.

The mission of Magic Memories Early Learning Schools is to be a daycare center with a heart where children grow in a warm, safe, and secure environment, where personal care and attention is the basis for children’s budding skills, and where exceptional care and education is a partnership between parents, teachers, and children. The program is locally owned, with an onsite senior management team including the President/Founder and Upper Administration who directly interact with staff, parents, and children.

At the Plymouth Meeting location, Director Iyisha Weaver has a Bachelor’s Degree in Child & Family Development and a Master’s degree in Education. Across the centers, 64% of staff hold a Child Development Associate degree (CDA) or higher, and teachers have experience in early childhood education well beyond the State standards. Leadership across locations includes Iyisha Weaver (Plymouth Meeting), Amber McCormick (Chester Springs), Laura Laum (Collegeville), Ashlyn Phifer (Norristown), Ashley Hennessey (Phoenixville), and Kari Robinson (Royersford).

One parent shared that from day one their family felt like part of the family, that staff are warm and welcoming, that even staff who are not direct teachers know their child’s name, and that the day is well balanced with activities and events outside of the school day. Another parent noted that teachers and admin at multiple sites have been welcoming with their twins, that communication is strong, and that their twins’ vocabulary has expanded and they are using sign language for certain words. A third parent stated that they cannot say enough great things about Magic Memories and that their child’s teacher goes above and beyond every expectation.
