Schuylkill County 4-H

Schuylkill County 4-H offers hands-on youth activities that include summer camps, leadership experiences, community service, environmental sciences, culinary arts, shooting sports, and animal science. The program also runs school enrichment and afterschool projects and programs during the year.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Schuylkill County 4-H has a 100+ year legacy in the county and describes its mission as focusing on youth exploration and learning in areas such as leadership, community service, environmental sciences, culinary arts, shooting sports, and animal science. The program has a major presence in Schuylkill County’s public and private schools through its school enrichment and afterschool projects and programs. It invites youth ages 5–18 and adults age 21 and older as potential volunteers to take part in this hands-on youth development program and assist the community in growing future leaders.
