Creative Explorer Summer Camps at Smartivities Showcase include hands-on arts and crafts making in open studio time and DIY projects for arts and crafts. Campers can take part in ceramic pottery painting, canvas painting, wood crafts, tote bag decorating, and may also experience workshops such as the Pottery Wheel Experience Workshop, along with art classes, pottery courses, and other special event offerings and customized projects.

Smartivities Showcase is a woman-owned and family operated small business led by founder April Tennille Khalil, who started her own business in 2014 as April Khalil Artistry. The first location of Smartivities Showcase opened on September 21, 2018, and the Center Valley location held its Grand Opening on December 12, 2024. The mission of Smartivities Showcase is to provide a creative environment for individuals of all ages to imagine, explore, create, and celebrate the arts while being a leading specialty art supplier, to promote education in customized art classes, to cultivate individual talents through group projects and special programs, to host customized parties and events, and to provide a showcase for local artisans to demonstrate and sell their works.
Smartivities Showcase features an Artist Market with handmade one-of-a-kind gifts, functional pottery, and unique home decor made by small business artisans, Creation Station Activities, and a dedicated Pottery Studio with memberships for open studio time in an over 4,000 sq. ft. space. It provides a showcase for local artisans to demonstrate and sell their works and supports the creative community by working directly with artists as a woman-owned and family operated small business. For walk-in DIY arts and crafts projects, no appointment is needed for groups of 4 or less, and for larger groups it is recommended to reserve a table or select one of the party packages for groups and celebrations.
