South Mountain YMCA Camps offers overnight camp, day camp, horseback riding, theme camps, an international teen adventure, teen leadership programs, school trips, a scouting program, women’s retreats, family camp weekends, and South Mountain Adventures. The programs include internationally-known camp options that focus on communication, trust, problem-solving, and deeper spiritual connections.
The South Mountain YMCA Camps have been igniting the fire of friendship since 1948. The Mission of the South Mountain YMCA is to provide a camping experience. South Mountain YMCA Camps is accredited by the ACA, the CHA, and Praesidium, and has been voted “Best Summer Camp” 2015 through 2023 by the readers of Berks County Living magazine. The YMCA is an international movement focused on strengthening communities.
