Pennsylvania’s FREE Pre-K Counts program is available at the Reading YMCA for qualifying families in the Greater Reading area, with on-site child care for infants through 6th grade and options for early drop-off and late pick-up. Childcare centers are fully licensed by the Department of Human Services, and Pre-K Counts is led by bilingual, licensed staff in a STAR 4-rated center. Financial assistance and subsidized funding are available for qualifying families in Early Learning Programs, and the YMCA offers an Open Door Scholarship for financial assistance, Nationwide Membership, a Digital Program Guide, FREE Family Movie Night for YMCA members and childcare families, and Les Mills Summer Luau Week at Sinking Spring Y.
