International Gymnastics Camp states that its programs are built on enriching each camper’s love for gymnastics, developing social skills, making lifelong friendships, enhancing teamwork skills, gaining independence, and making camp memories. The camp describes itself as a family tradition since 1971 and notes that the Klaus Family founded IGC in 1971. It reports that more than 150,000 campers from over 60 countries have attended and that it hosts Olympic, World, and National team athletes and coaches from around the world. For Summer 2026, the camp lists 9 summer weeks and 2 mini-camps and describes its program as a world-class traditional IGC program for gymnasts of all levels, from those who have never done gymnastics to elite and national team members.

The camp identifies itself as the only Accredited ACA Gymnastics Summer Camp and describes itself as a pioneer of safety and kindness in the gymnastics world. It states that it is committed to providing a kind, healthy, and safe environment for campers in all aspects of camp life.

The centrally located IGC Health Center is staffed 24/7 with an Enrolled Nurse and Certified Athletic Trainers, with a physician on call at all times. All medications, including vitamins, must be turned in to the Health Center and are administered by the Camp Nurse, and prescription drugs must be in the original container with the licensed physician’s instructions and placed into a zip-lock bag labeled with the camper’s name. For campers with severe allergies or sensitivities that require avoiding cross-contamination, families are instructed to bring sealed individual meals for the duration of the stay that are nut-free, contain no shellfish, are individually sealed and clearly labeled for each meal and day, are microwavable and/or ready to eat, checked in with chefs during Sunday check-in, and any specialty dietary snacks are kept in the Health Center. The camp notes that it is a nut-sensitive environment and that no shellfish is served.

Spending money is placed on a canteen account under the camper’s name, which the camper can access to purchase items during their stay. Canteen accounts are set up using a credit card held by CampMinder through the “My IGC” login, and unspent canteen money is refunded to the default credit card on file within 15 days of departure. The IGC Canteen camp store offers t-shirts, gymnastics apparel, supplies, snacks, and beverages. Tuition insurance is offered through Travmark’s Program Protector.

The camp shares that more than 150,000 campers from over 60 countries have attended and that it has hosted Olympic, World, and National team athletes and coaches from around the world. One testimonial describes a camper who returned as a counselor and coach and notes that traditions they loved as a camper were still present a decade later. Another testimonial mentions a camper receiving a 6-year sweatshirt after attending with a best friend since age 7. A third testimonial describes campers from New Jersey and Connecticut who met at camp in 2008 and continued to see each other on weekends until they could drive.
