Various troops throughout Schuylkill County made and donated over 200 “Make A Difference Day Take Home Kits.” The Rite Aid Foundation, through its KidCents Charity Program, awarded Child Development a $10,000 grant. PPL Foundation’s Cover to Cover program awarded Child Development, Inc. a $5,000 grant, and PPL Electric Utilities selected Child Development as one of 13 organizations to receive grants in a highly competitive cycle that totaled $450,000 to support more than 70 organizations.
