Camp Chen-A-Wanda is a 7-week summer camp that emphasizes unplugging from technology in favor of face-to-face relationships and outdoor play. The camp runs a Big Sister or Big Brother program for new campers, with connections made before camp begins and events at camp to bring them together. A staff of 300 people dedicate their summers to providing experiences to children at Camp Chen-A-Wanda.

Camp Chen-A-Wanda was established in 1939 and has served thousands of campers over more than 80 years. Its mission highlights long-standing camp traditions, personal choice in trying new things and challenges, and a focus on being the best version of oneself within a supportive summer community. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association. The camp population includes boys and girls from several communities throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania, South Florida, North Carolina, Missouri, and California.
