Steel City Rowing Club Youth Programs

Steel City Rowing Club Youth Programs include Youth Summer & After School Programs, Juniors Rowing, Youth Winter Training, Youth Free Intros, and a Summer Rowing Camp. The programs also offer Teen River Adventure Camp (age 12-15), River Day Camp (age 8-12), an After School Ecology Program, and activities such as Kayak Thursdays and Watersports Membership. Additional options connected to the youth programs include Beyond Rowing, Riverside Meditation, Boathouse Tours, and public events such as Dam to Dam 2026 and Battle of the Burgh ’26.

Steel City Rowing Club Youth Programs follow a mission that is dedicated to developing the strength and character of all backgrounds through the discipline and teamwork of rowing, and through opportunities to serve others. The programs welcome people of all backgrounds to grow as individuals, athletes, leaders, and stewards of the region's rivers, and they offer Free Introductions and School Demos on a regular basis. Community involvement includes public events designed to connect the community, outreach such as event tabling, and school and workplace demo visits.
