West View HUB Youth Programs include Pass the Class Tutoring, Curiosity Club, a Mindfulness & Movement Class, a Homeschool Hangout, Recording Studio Sessions, Summer Programs, and Homework Help & Tutoring. The program also offers fun and innovative academic-based lessons for STEM, language arts, and art projects.

• Schedule: Options available Monday–Friday during daytime and after-school hours, with some programs meeting weekly and others scheduled as needed
• Price: Pass the Class and free after-school programs are completely free of charge, supported by the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant
The HUB opened in 2019 and focuses on improving academic outcomes, increasing health and wellness, addressing the changing population, and improving community vitality. Every program at West View HUB reflects its mission to feed the mind, body, and spirit of West View and to serve as a one-stop hub for the community. The organization states that it is barrier-free and welcomes everybody regardless of background or belief, and it aims to foster a caring community that celebrates individual uniqueness and responds to changing community needs with respect and dignity. The HUB’s library offers a comprehensive selection for all ages and interests, and its food pantry provides healthy, delicious choices for over 1,100 families. HUBworks, opened in 2023, is an immersive arts center that serves as a performing arts venue, visual art studio, and audio recording studio.
Through volunteers and support from neighbors in West View, the HUB states that it strives to give patrons a place where they can enjoy themselves, enrich their lives, and find help when they need it. The West View HUB also hosts North Hills Community Outreach on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, State Rep Emily Kinkead Satellite Hours by appointment, and VFW Regional Office Hours on the 1st Tuesday of the month.
