The program follows a play-based learning approach with a focus on communication, social and emotional development, physical development, expressive arts, learning skills, and mathematics. The center offers infant care for ages 6 weeks–12 months, a toddler program for ages 1–2 years, a preschool program for ages 3–4 years, a pre-K program for ages 4–5 years, and a school-age program for ages 5–12 years, including before- and after-school care for ages 5–12 years. Children are served nutritious, healthy, balanced meals in a safe, hygienic setting, and the environment is described as secure, clean, and nurturing. The staff includes highly skilled professional staff with current First Aid/CPR certifications and completed criminal background checks through Pennsylvania, along with experienced teachers with years of early childhood experience. Learning Ladder Academy has earned a Maximum Star 4 Level on the Keystone Stars Rating. A Storybook Party & Storybook Sleepovers has provided a visit for campers at this program.
