About

Audubon Summer Camp includes nature and environmental education activities, hikes, and games. Counselors-in-Training camp sessions for teens ages 13–15 include hands-on experience in environmental education and summer camp skills under the guidance of experts in the field. Junior Camp Counselor positions are volunteer positions and are eligible for a small stipend and school internship credit.

• Ages: 2½–15 years old
• Schedule: Counselor-in-Training camp sessions for teens ages 13–15 are offered the week of July 13–19, 2026.
• Price: $225 for Members, $275 for Non-members for Counselor-in-Training camp sessions for teens ages 13–15 offered the week of July 13–19, 2026.

Audubon states that it believes that every child should have the opportunity to go to camp. Audubon provides financial assistance to parents and guardians with special circumstances to help send their child to camp, and summer camp scholarships are made possible by donors who have contributed to the Joe Koger Camp Scholarship Fund. Audubon Society of Rhode Island Members receive discounts on summer camp fees. Camp Counselors must be 18 years or over, and Assistant Counselors must be 16 years or older. Audubon Summer Camps comply with Rhode Island Department of Health, Massachusetts Department of Health, and the Seekonk Board of Health regulations.
