WCFA Art Camps include art making in small camp classes, along with art classes and workshops that use both an air conditioned classroom and an outdoor courtyard space. Campers are part of a multi-disciplinary community art space that also offers music, games, art exhibits, artist talks, demos, film screenings, opening receptions, an improv show, mindfulness meditation, yoga, Artists Open Studio, musical performances, and community contra dances.

• Schedule: Weekly summer camp sessions with flexible options to choose half-day morning or afternoon sessions, or a full-day session
• Price: Sibling Discount – 10% off the tuition for each additional sibling after the first registration; WCFA Family Members receive a discount on camp tuition; need-based tuition assistance may provide either 50% or 25% off the full tuition amount
Camp weeks for summer 2025 are scheduled as Week 1: June 23–27, Week 2: June 29–July 3, Week 3: July 7–11, Week 4: July 14–18, Week 5: July 21–25, Week 6: July 28–August 1, and Week 7: August 4–8. WCFA has offered summer art camp for over 25 years and has offered summer art camp for ages 5–14 for decades.
Small camp class sizes are capped at a maximum of 10 students, with at least one lead teacher and two teen or adult teaching aides in each camp class. All staff, instructors, and volunteers are required to provide a criminal background check and references, and WCFA follows all CDC Covid-19 guidelines and screens campers for signs of illness.
The Warwick Center for the Arts is a multi-disciplinary community art space for all ages and abilities to engage in arts and cultural experiences, and its mission is to make the arts accessible to all. WCFA connects all ages and abilities through educational programs and cultural experiences and is always looking for local community members to be part of its mission. Teens can reach out to WCFA if interested in community service hours.
WCFA Gallery and Office hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Mindfulness meditation is offered in-person and online every week on Monday evenings and Thursday mornings, and yoga in the gallery takes place every Friday from 10:00–11:00 am and Saturdays from 8:30–9:45 am. Family Friendly Comedy is held at 8:00 pm and Caffeinated Insomniacs at 10:00 pm every Friday night, and Family Friendly Improv every Friday night includes voluntary audience participation.
Campers are asked to bring a water bottle, snack, and/or lunch if staying for a full day, to apply sunscreen before arriving, to wear sturdy closed-toe shoes (no flip flops), and to wear comfortable clothing suitable for painting and messy projects. One parent shared, “Alice had a fantastic time creating art and making new friends!” in June 2024.
