About

White Horses Collegiate Preparatory Camps includes mounted instruction, a collegiate Q&A, and a judged scrimmage day with both flat and fences scrimmages. Campers take part in flat scrimmage and fences scrimmage sessions, along with a lunch and informational session that includes campers and parents.

• Ages: 13–18 years old
• Schedule: Two-day camp; Day 1 runs 7:15 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and Day 2 runs 7:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
• Price: Camp fee is $800 per rider, including a camp T-shirt and lunch; additional lunches may be purchased for $12 per person.

On Day 1, the schedule includes arrival at 7:15 a.m., group flat and fences sessions with Coach Hope or Andrea and Coach Tash, a break and snack, horse care and barn clean-up, and lunch plus a Q&A with coaches and current student-athletes, followed by a wrap-up and discussion of Day 2. On Day 2, the schedule includes arrival at 7:30 a.m., tacking flat horses, a flat scrimmage with a 4-minute warm-up beforehand, a break and snack, tacking fences horses, a fences scrimmage with a 4-minute warm-up beforehand, and a lunch and informational session with campers and parents before wrap-up. Camp spots are limited to a total of 12 riders, with 2 sections of 6 riders each, and White Horses LLC reserves the right to require a minimum of 8 registered riders to run each camp. Camps are open to all and any entrants, limited only by numbers, age, grade level, and/or gender, and are subject to NCAA recruiting legislation and may be cancelled or rescheduled if legislation makes the scheduled dates impermissible. Families are asked to download, fill out, and bring a White Horses release form, camp release form, detailed NCEA itinerary, and riding resume on the first day of camp.

White Horses’ mission is to offer top-quality care and instruction for the horse and rider. The leadership team for the program includes Natasha “Tash” Vitkovic as Trainer, Hope King as Assistant Trainer, and Andrea Attard as Home Assistant Trainer and Dressage Coach. Natasha “Tash” Vitkovic holds a B.A. in Communications from Hollins University, has spent her life competing horses and working in the Hunter/Jumper industry, worked for several professionals before turning professional herself in 2007, and later purchased and developed the 24-acre, 24-stall boarding facility now known as White Horses, LLC. Tash has also prepped riders interested in competing on Intercollegiate and NCEA Equestrian Teams. Hope King graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in Marketing and Sports Management and was a competing member of OSU’s Division I NCEA Equestrian Team for four years, contributing to three Big XII Championship titles and an NCEA National Championship title in 2020, and earning honors such as NCEA First Team All American, Big XII Flat Rider of the Year, Big XII First Team All American, and multiple All-Academic and championship team awards. Andrea brings expertise in the dressage ring to the White Horses team. White Horses is the headquarters for the College of Charleston Equestrian Team and hosts one of the country’s college preparatory collegiate riding camps each summer, with riders who are active participants in the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program and who regularly attend national equitation finals, including the Platinum Performance/USEF Talent Search Finals, The Dover/USEF Hunt Seat Medal Finals, and the ASPCA Maclay Finals.
