Palmetto Jujitsu Academy & Healing Arts Center

Palmetto Jujitsu Academy & Healing Arts Center offers Jujitsu and Judo, including Kodenkan Danzan Ryu Judo. It also offers a Black Belt Class for black belts only and Seifukujitsu.

• Judo — We teach Kodenkan Danzan Ryu Judo.
• Black Belt Class — black belts only · 2nd Saturday of every month 9 AM to Noon · $10 per class · For non-PJA black belts that are members of the AJJF.
• Seifukujitsu — 2nd Saturday of each month 9AM to 5PM

About the provider

The program was established on January 12, 1995, and has taught Jujitsu in Lexington SC since 1995. Its leadership team includes Professor Ryan and Renshi Patrick. Professor Ryan is a 9th Dan and holds the title of Professor with the American Judo & Jujitsu Federation, and Renshi Patrick is a 6th Dan. The mission statement says the program aims to strengthen spirit for life's challenges, be discriminatory to gain wisdom, have a positive impact on youth and adults in the community, and be compassionate in service to others. Uniforms are available on site.

Dojo members are required to join the American Judo and Jujitsu Federation. Adult AJJF fees are $60 each for the year. Children AJJF fees are $30 each for the year. Rank fees: Kyu ranks, $5 for the belt, no testing fees, dojo BlackBelt is $100 per rank.
