Summer Camp takes place at Bethelwoods Camp and Conference Center and keeps campers in small groups, with each camp group capped at twelve to sixteen campers who do all their activities together. The program notes that campers should bring bug spray as part of their packing list.

Bethelwoods Camp and Conference Center was founded in 1965 in affiliation with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Its mission statement is: “Bethelwoods Camp and Conference Center: A place set apart to encounter God's love through creation and community.” Bethelwoods was founded and has been supported by the Presbyterian Church (USA) since its inception and is described as ecumenical, with a growing diversity of denominations and beliefs, and it aspires that campers and retreat groups feel free to share in the unity of the Body of Christ no matter their faith background. Bethelwoods welcomes visitors year-round, including adults attending business conferences, youth groups on weekend retreats, and Scouts on tent camping trips, and all groups that visit receive what the camp describes as the highest level of Christian hospitality and openness to share God's love. Bethelwoods offers different programs and opportunities to expand one’s experiences and knowledge, allowing one to grow personally and spiritually, and the property provides space to connect and reconnect with each other and God through God’s creation while disconnecting from daily rhythms.
