YMCA Swimming Lessons

YMCA Swimming Lessons includes Parent/Child lessons for children from 6 months up to 3 years old, Pre-School Aquatics for ages 3 up to 5 years, and Youth Swim Lesson for ages 6 and older. Private Swim Lessons are also offered for all ages. The listed prices are $28 to $88 per session for YMCA Swimming Lessons and $100 to $180 for Private Swim Lessons.

• YMCA Swimming Lessons — Participants in Parent/Child must be at least 6 months of age up until 3 years of age; Pre-School Aquatics is 3 years old up until 5 years of age; Youth Swim Lesson program is 6 years of age and older · $28–$88 per session

About the provider

The Oahe Family YMCA was founded in 1971 and has served the Pierre/Ft. Pierre area for 45 years. Its mission statement says it serves the Pierre/Ft. Pierre area through programs that provide a positive, safe environment and support the development of the basic core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.

Parent/Child participants must be at least 6 months old up until 3 years old. Pre-School Aquatics is for ages 3 up until 5 years. Youth Swim Lesson participants should be 6 years old and older. Levels are grouped by ability. Passing classes may take several attempts. Missed classes cannot be made up and are not refundable. Once a class is passed, participants should be scheduled for the next class.
