GCT Summer Camps offers week long programs where campers act, sing, and dance as part of an ensemble. Each session has a camp performance on Friday at 3:30pm at the end of the week.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Week long programs, Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm, with a camp performance each Friday at 3:30pm
• Price: Tuition for each week of camps is $275 (multiple camps $250). A $50 deposit is required to hold a camper’s spot. Need based scholarships available.
Summer Camps for young artists ages 6 and up have a camp capacity of 30 per session. General information about camp schedules, code of conduct, and what to expect is provided in a Camp Handbook, which should be read thoroughly before registration. The camp leadership team includes Camp Coordinator Meg Williams; teachers Alexis Cole, Jackie Cooper, Kaylea Engor, Sabella Holt, Carter Malahy, and Campbell Williams; and teacher’s assistants Mia Murphy, Koi Dluhos, Cate Sparkman, Spencer Malahy, Lois Applewhite, Sarah Pennington, Riley Griffin, Dellen Wetzel, and Ollie Hale.
Germantown Community Theatre is now producing its 54th season and has been a part of the Midsouth performing arts scene since 1972, moving to its current location in 1986. GCT provides theatrical entertainment and educational opportunities for Midsouth families and states that its mission is to entertain, educate, engage, and enrich the community through theatrical programming. GCT productions are supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SLFRP5534 awarded to the State of Tennessee by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and season sponsors include the City of Germantown, Tennessee Arts Commission, ARTSmemphis, and The Marston Group.
