Providence Academy Summer Camps

Providence Academy Summer Camps offers weekly camps in athletics, fine arts, and discovery. The offerings include basketball, soccer, baseball, music camp, worship band camp, art camp, softball, wrestling, Knights Football Camp, reading roundup, and cheer camp. Some camps include fundamentals work, scrimmage games, singing, dancing, making musical instruments, playing instruments, audio/visual training, and a cheer dance.

• Basketball Session I — Rising K-3rd; Rising 4th-8th · May 26-29, 9:00 AM-11:30 AM; 12:00 PM-2:30 PM
• Soccer — Rising K-8th · June 1-4, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM · Campers work on the fundamentals of soccer and playing scrimmage soccer games. Players are divided into age-appropriate groups for skill training and scrimmages.
• Baseball — Rising 3rd-5th; 6th-8th · June 8-11, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM; 1:30 PM-3:30 PM · Campers work on the fundamentals of baseball, including throwing, batting, and base running. There is guidance on arm care and the mental game of baseball.
• Music Camp — Rising 2nd-4th · June 8-12, 9:00 AM-11:30 AM · A five-day camp with singing, dancing, games, playing, and making musical instruments. The week culminates with a performance on Friday.
• Worship Band Camp — Rising 5th-8th · June 8-12, 12:30 PM-3:00 PM · A five-day camp to learn how to serve with gifts on a church worship team, including instruments, vocals, and audio/visual training.
• Art Camp — Rising 2nd-4th; Rising 5th-8th · June 8-12, 9:00 AM-11:30 AM; 12:30 PM-3:00 PM · Fun with art.
• Softball — Rising 3rd-8th · June 15-18, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
• Wrestling — Rising 1st-7th · June 15-19, 8:00 AM-11:00 AM · Campers work on the fundamentals of wrestling and have a final match on Friday. Players are divided into age/weight-appropriate groups for skill training.
• Knights Football Camp — Rising K-8th · July 6-9, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
• Basketball Session II — Rising K-3rd; Rising 4th-8th · July 13-16, 9:00 AM-11:30 AM; 12:00 PM-2:30 PM
• Reading Roundup — Rising 1st-3rd · July 13-16, 12:30 PM-3:00 PM · A reading camp with incorporated art. Students practice reading skills and work with the teacher each day in reading fluency, phonics skills, and comprehension.
• Cheer Camp — Rising K-5th · July 27-30, 9:00 AM-11:30 AM · Campers learn and review the fundamentals of cheerleading, new PA cheers, and a cheer dance. The camp also focuses on discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and self-esteem.
