About the provider

Robby Beard is the owner of USA KARATE. The site says the school aims to build confidence, help students improve fitness, empower the community with martial arts, and prepare children for success in the real world. It also says students learn skills for the real world and that some students go on to join Ivy schools and become community leaders.

The site says month-to-month memberships are offered, as well as savings on longer plans. It says there are no previous experience or particular fitness level requirements, and beginners train alongside more experienced kids in a fun team environment. It also says the school uses certified black belts who are qualified and licensed to teach martial arts.

What families say

“USA karate has been an integral part of my kid's life for the past two years. My son is now a strong confident young man and I believe that might not be the case without the discipline and exercise he gets in his karate classes. Instructors are just fantastic, they treat my son like the champion he is.” — Leslie Ryan

“Great for all ages and experience levels! Stranger danger, bullying issues, tenacity, being kind and positive, and defending yourself. These are just a few things the students learn about when at USA Karate.” — Tiffany Brown

“The school to go to if you’re 4 or 80. Everyone is humble and the staff is world-class. With 5 locations around the Memphis area you’re never too far away to train!” — Jason Lederfine
