Abilene Youth Sports Authority Programs include basketball tournaments, basketball leagues and programs, volleyball programs and an all-skills volleyball camp, pickleball, a fall soccer league, and access to city leagues in basketball, football, hockey, baseball, softball, soccer, and tennis. The programs also include VertiMax training and an adult volleyball league.

• Ages: 4–15 years old
• Schedule: Seasonal and weekly options including basketball tournaments on July 25–26, a Volleyball All-Skills Camp July 28–30 from 9am–12pm, Pickleball Summer Slam Series on Mondays in July, and a Fall Soccer League with U4–U7 on Thursdays from September 10–October 29 and U8+ on Saturdays from September 12–October 31

Abilene Youth Sports Authority (AYSA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2004. Its leadership team includes Brandon Osborne (Executive Director), Sabrina Bingham (Volleyball Director), Jacie Lopez (Director of Sports Operations), Colton Southall (Basketball Director and Flag Football Coordinator), Blake Stewart (Soccer Director), and Lisa Rinker (Adaptive Sports Director), along with facility and field operations staff. AYSA describes itself as the community “Home Office” for youth sports in the Big Country and states that, with community help, it held the grand opening of the Dodge Jones Youth Sports Center on February 21, 2020. AYSA states that it is founded on Christian principles and that its mission and vision focus on youth sports, teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty, trust, respect for authority, and the involvement of kids, coaches, and parents.
