Greenville Oaks Christian Preschool

Greenville Oaks Christian Preschool offers language and listening activities, creative play centers that encourage imaginative play, and a variety of manipulative materials and problem solving exercises. Children take part in math and science activities, gross and fine motor development activities, weekly specials in music and PE, children's chapel with interactive Bible stories, prayers, and monthly songs and dances, as well as creative art activities.

Greenville Oaks Christian Preschool is a ministry of the Greenville Oaks Church of Christ. Its stated mission is “Growing the hearts and minds of the children in our community.” As a ministry of the church, the preschool serves the young families of the congregation and the surrounding community. The curriculum is based on the Frogstreet Learning Program and uses a learn-and-play format that focuses on literacy and age-appropriate teaching concepts through play and experience. The program states that it focuses on developing a love of learning and a readiness for school in an environment described as safe, loving, Christian, and caring, and it strives to offer varied opportunities for successful learning that lead students toward kindergarten readiness.
