Snapology offers year-round STEAM learning programs where children build and program robotic models that move, make sounds, and respond to sensors. The program includes activities such as a Star Wars Challenge where kids design custom light sabers to withstand several Jedi challenges, an Engineering Challenge focused on simple machines, physics, and engineering design, and Amusement Park Adventures Engineering using LEGO bricks and other building materials to build coasters and other rides with motors. Children also take part in animation projects using LEGO bricks and stop-motion animation software, Robot Challenges using LEGO bricks with simple remotes and sensors, and robotics, coding, and design challenges using LEGO bricks, K’nex, and technology.

Snapology’s mission statement is that it provides children’s enrichment with year-round STEAM learning programs that engage children from ages 4 to 14. Snapology’s programs teach through building using LEGO bricks, K’nex, and technology, and instructors use hands-on activities to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Programs are available in Discovery Centers, classrooms, and community facilities across the globe, and are offered as after-school programs, summer camps, workshops, field trips, birthday parties, assemblies, and custom events. Discovery Centers are interactive play spaces filled with educational tools, creative play, on-site classes, and special events. A dedicated Snapologist teaches students as they work in pairs to promote team building, and Snapology patches are available at an additional cost for groups that complete programs. Programs also provide interactive STEM/STEAM learning for scouting groups and help scouts work toward badges, pins, and awards. While children are exploring robotics, coding, and design challenges using LEGO bricks, K’nex, and technology, they are building skills that will help them throughout school and their careers, and to kids, it is just fun.
