About
Snapology STEAM Programs include activities such as animation, robotics, technology projects, Star Wars Challenge, Engineering Challenge, Robot Challenge, and Amusement Park Adventures Engineering. Children use LEGO bricks, K’Nex, and technology for activities like animation with stop-motion animation software, building and programming robotic models that move, make sounds, and respond to sensors, and building coasters and other rides with motors to create a full amusement park. Additional themed options include designing custom light sabers to withstand several Jedi challenges, Space Science Explorer, Space Science Adventurer, Space Science Investigator, Inventor, Digital Movie Master, and mechanical engineering and robotics programs that can be connected to Girl Scout STEM badges.

Snapology states that its STEAM programs teach through building and that instructors use hands-on activities to teach science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. The program is described as the premier partner for STEAM programs and offers year-round learning programs in schools, community facilities, homes, and Discovery Centers. While children are exploring robotics, coding, and design challenges using LEGO bricks, K’Nex, and technology, Snapology states that they are building skills that will help them throughout school and their careers.
Snapology provides a dedicated Snapologist to teach students, and students work in pairs to promote team building in scout programs. For scouts, programs can be adapted to help participants work toward badges, pins, and awards, and Snapology patches are available at an additional cost for those who complete programs. Snapology describes its Girl Scout and Scouts BSA activities as “top-rated.”
Snapology offers programs for schools, homeschool groups, and scouts, including Girl Scout and Scouts BSA activities, and also provides field trips, assemblies, and custom events. Programs are offered as after-school programs, summer camps, workshops, field trips, birthday parties, assemblies, and custom events, and use popular building toys and technology in STEM and STEAM activities.
One parent described a Snapology school field trip as “wonderful,” noting that students were engaged and learning hands-on while having fun. Another parent reported that a 3-year-old enjoyed the glow room and making block pictures to hang on the wall. A third parent shared that a 6th birthday party at Snapology “turned out to be perfect” for their group.
