About
American Dance Training Camps (ADTC) offers overnight dance camps where campers spend the week dancing, taking part in a girls’ night out to dress up and go out to dinner in town, and enjoying a day at the beach at Boulder Reservoir to paddle board, swim, and hang out. Campers also participate in a talent night where they choreograph their own dances and perform for each other, an end-of-week show, excursions and field trips that can include kayaking, zip-lining, and going to the beach, and a Dance Idol Competition that is described as the highlight of the week for many campers. ADTC also offers virtual options such as a free Zoom Dance Camp triple-threat boot camp with contemporary, hip hop, and jazz combinations, live virtual dance classes, free online dance classes, custom choreography orders, 1-on-1 private classes, and Spring Break Dance Camps including Jazz Dance for Teens (Intermediate/Advanced) and Hip Hop/Street Jazz 101.
• Ages: 8–17 years old
• Schedule: Overnight dance camps run for one week, and Spring Break Dance Camps run for 5 days; the free Zoom Dance Camp is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 2–5pm EST
ADTC’s Spring Break Dance Camps are each 5-day programs that include 90 minutes of live instruction and discussion plus 30 minutes of self-paced practice per day. The free Zoom Dance Camp for girls ages 8–17 is scheduled as a three-hour online session focused on contemporary, hip hop, and jazz combinations.
The ADTC summer team is trained to empower girls, and the program features world-class, top-notch dance instructors. The leadership team includes Lindsey Fadner, the ADTC ULTIMATE Dance Camp Founder, who is described as “The Visionary.” ADTC reports that its dance camps attract girls from every corner of the United States and from around the world, with most campers coming alone, many with friends, and some with a studio or team, and that campers can be brand new to dance or seasoned competitors.
According to ADTC, its overnight dance camps are all-girl programs that emphasize a tight-knit community where campers are not bombarded by confusing media images and have a unique opportunity to reconnect with their authentic “Self.” The camp states that it focuses on interpersonal skill building and character development in an atmosphere of inclusivity, respect, dignity, and fun, and that it emphasizes growth experiences, independence, taking risks, unplugging from social media, and feeling centered and balanced. Featured Friday Night Shows are part of the dance camp experience, and theme days from Tuesday through Friday are used to encourage camper spirit.
ADTC states that 2026 is its 24th summer and that it has successfully empowered thousands of girls around the world for more than 20 years with its ULTIMATE dance camp experience. The program’s mission statement is, “Our mission is to help you do what you love.” ADTC reports an overall rating of 5 out of 5 based on 223 reviews.
Parent testimonials describe campers returning home with new friends, new experiences, and a renewed love of dance, and mention that some campers attend multiple summers, including one camper who has attended ADTC in Colorado for five summers starting at age 9. Parents report that their children enjoy activities such as girls’ night out, the day at Boulder Reservoir, talent night, the end-of-week show, and excursions that include kayaking, zip-lining, and beach trips, and that campers often stay in touch with friends and instructors after camp. One parent notes that her daughter dances most of her free time and finds ADTC to be the perfect camp for her, and another parent reports that her daughter enjoyed the dance classes, felt challenged, and chose to return for a second week in a later summer because she “loved it so much.”
