Austin Nature and Science Center Camps and Programs include hands-on nature education and recreation activities. The program also offers instructor-led and self-guided field trips, as well as homeschool activities through various school programs and group reservations, including Nature's Way Preschool.

• Schedule: Open daily with weekday and weekend daytime hours
Since 1960, the Austin Nature and Science Center has provided hands-on nature education and recreation activities. It features indoor and outdoor exhibits highlighting the natural history of Central Texas and beyond and is open to the public 344 days a year. The center offers public programs including camps, events, and community programs and is dedicated to the exploration and stewardship of the natural world. It also offers a Trade Counter program that gives visitors the opportunity to collect, investigate, and trade natural objects. Parking is available underneath the Mopac Bridge, pets are not allowed on site, and visitors can check out free nets and buckets at the front desk instead of bringing their own to creeks and ponds.
