Mission Possible Austin

Mission Possible Austin includes specific activities such as Camp Nikos, a summer camp for at-risk children, Church Under the Bridge, Lifeline Pregnancy Resource Center, and Restoration Art Center. The program is a faith based non-profit organization specializing in cross cultural ministry that focuses on impacting unchurched and at-risk populations in East Austin. Its Kingdom Cooperative uses five strategic Areas of Care: Early Life, Children & Youth, Young Adult, Elderly, and Unhoused.

Mission Possible Austin started in 1992, and Camp Nikos began in 1993 as a summer camp for at-risk children. In 1996, Mission Possible Austin became a 501(c)(3), and by 1998 Church Under the Bridge was operating every Sunday. In 2003, Mission Possible Austin purchased 1190 Chicon St. as its ministry facility, and in 2017 it built Hesed Homes and began Lifeline Pregnancy Resource Center to help meet the needs of pregnant moms in the community. The organization’s mission is: “Creating a Christ-centered culture that advances the Kingdom of God to see lives and families transformed,” and its vision is “A community where the Kingdom of God is evident,” with values of Justice, Mercy, and Humility (Micah 6:8). Mission Possible partners with local churches, individuals, and other non-profits committed to cross cultural ministry through community development and faith based relational care, and it carries out this work through its Kingdom Cooperative.

Director), Simon Kenyon (Church Under the Bridge Director), Marsha Peek (Parent Resource Center Coordinator), Karen Bernal (Restoration Art Center Assistant), and Dave Allen (Facilities Manager).
