Hello Dancer Austin

Hello Dancer Austin offers Baby Program (Mommy and Me) classes for children 2 months to pre-walking with a mom or dad, Toddler Program (Mommy and Me) classes for walking to 3-year-olds with a grown-up dancer, Pre-K Program (Independent Classes) for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds, and Children’s Dance Program classes for 5-, 6-, 7-, and 8-year-olds. Classes are held once a week and are 45 minutes long, except for combo ballet and tap classes and 7- to 8-year-old classes, which are 1 hour each.

• General schedule: Classes are held once a week. Classes are 45 minutes long except for combo ballet and tap classes and 7-8 yr old classes, which are 1 hour each. Classes are prorated if you join after the 1st week of the session. Registration for Baby & Me is ongoing throughout the session unless the class time and day is sold out.

About the provider

The mission of Hello Dancer Austin is: “Dance, designed for childhood. A magical dance experience where children learn, create, imagine, and grow through developmentally appropriate dance education, without the pressure.” The leadership team includes April Peters, Founder, Creative Director, and Instructor; Ms. Morgan, Mrs Kirby, Ms. Ellen, Ms Alyssa, Ms. Kat, Ms. Claire, and Mrs. Britt.

Small class sizes; supportive, small-groups of up to 8 children; end-of-session informal performances called “informances”; no recitals mentioned; seasonal sessions; children enroll based on age on October 1, 2023; classes are at Central Austin or South Austin locations.
