Switch Willo Stables offers Hunter/Jumper training and Hunter/Jumper competition, along with riding lessons and horse camp. The program takes place at a nationally renowned show barn that includes Hunter/Jumper-focused activities for riders.

Switch Willo Stables began in 1963 when William Clark Craig purchased seven acres near Hobby Horse Farm, and it has been family-owned in Northwest Austin since 1963. The property has grown from a five-stall barn into 21 treed acres with 50 stalls and four arenas and is described as a nationally renowned show barn. The stated mission is “Unsurpassed excellence in Hunter/Jumper training & competition,” and many of central Texas’s top professional riders trace their first lesson back to Switch Willo.
The leadership team includes Glenn Johnson (Owner & Trainer), Phoebe Johnson (Founder, Owner & Trainer), Emmett Marsh (Owner), Kirk Berlin (Head Trainer), Cindi Wallace (Barn Manager), Riley Wooding (Camp Director / Switch Willo Camp Director), and Holly Mortimer (Lesson Director). Trainers include Kylie Wiggins (Trainer & IEA Coach), Beverly Manroe (Trainer), Wendy Kratzer (Trainer), and Natalie Pape (Trainer), and Phoebe and Glenn Johnson are listed as facility owners.
Glenn Johnson began riding at Switch Willo in 1965 and rode Cricket, an ex-bucking horse, to numerous Grand Prix wins at The American Gold Cup, American Invitational, and Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. Kirk Berlin has been involved with horses for over 40 years and rode at Switch Willo as an amateur before turning professional. Cindi Wallace has been riding horses for the past 25 years and joined Switch Willo in 2008 as a boarder. Holly Mortimer has been involved in the hunter/jumper world for at least 25 years and has managed show offices for many Centex and Greater Houston shows. Camp Director Riley Wooding is a lifelong rider, grew up attending both day camps and sleepaway camps, and later worked as a wrangler helping with care and management of horse herds. Beverly Manroe began her career at age nine in Houston at Parish Stables and later taught there. Kylie Wiggins first entered Switch Willo Stables at age 5, began competing at local shows at age 6, and by her teens was competing at the 3-foot level. Natalie Pape graduated with a degree in equine studies, has been riding for over 25 years, participated on a Varsity IHSA team, and spent five years in Houston training, competing, and teaching students of all levels at Fort Bend Equestrian Center. Wendy Kratzer grew up with horses, competed in 4-H and local shows in southern Michigan, and joined the IHSA equestrian team at Ball State University.
