The Mosaic Workshop offers Intro Mosaic Workshop sessions, Drop-Ins, Private Workshops, and Mosaics & Mocktails. Intro Mosaic Workshop is a scheduled class that goes in-depth into mosaic techniques, with expert instructors guiding participants step by step and all materials provided. Drop-Ins let participants create mosaics during studio hours, and include all mosaic materials, tools, and instruction.
Programs
- Intro Mosaic Workshop — All ages; minors must have guardian supervision. Recommended for children 12 and up for tools. · Saturdays 10 am – 1 pm; Sundays 10 am – 1 pm; Mondays 6 – 9 pm · $75 per class · Scheduled class that goes in-depth into mosaic techniques. Expert instructors guide participants every step of the way. All materials provided.
- Drop-Ins — All ages; kids welcome. Minors must have guardian supervision. · Daily 11 am – 6 pm; Mondays until 9 pm · $25 per class · Create mosaics anytime during studio hours. First come first serve. Large groups should contact beforehand; table reservations are available for a fee.
- Private Workshops — Private workshops for groups of any size; tailored for team building activities, birthday celebrations, bachelorette parties, meetups, and more.
- Mosaics & Mocktails — 18+ · First and Third Fridays from 6 – 8 pm · $35 per class · All levels welcome. Ticket includes 2 drinks and creating a mosaic coaster.

About the provider
The Mosaic Workshop was founded by J Muzacz and Carmen Rangel in 2019. Intro Mosaic Workshops are led by Heather Kruger and Maggie Lyon, Team Building workshops are often led by J Muzacz or Veronica Ceci, and Litzy Rea Valdez leads the monthly Español Workshop. The workshop diverts broken tiles, glass, and ceramics from the landfill into permanent public art in community murals, donates 1% of all purchases to combat climate change, and works on community-led mosaics and public art projects.

- Charcuterie Board Mosaic with Adriana Cerón — Monday, October 26th, 2 – 5pm
- Anatomy of a Mosaic Cloud with Koko Mosaico — Thursday, Oct 29 and Friday, Oct 30, 9:30am – 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break
Intro Mosaic Workshops and Drop-Ins are all ages. Tools are recommended for children 12 and up. Mosaics & Mocktails is an 18+ event. Drop-Ins are first come first served.
