Camp OTX offers a wide range of activities, including Door and Room Decor, Riflery, High School Hopefuls, Digital Photography, Canoeing & Kayaking, Woodworking, Water Yoga, Walking Sticks, a Water Park, Water Gun Picasso, Wacky Waffles, and Volleyball. The camp takes place on acres of beautiful, forested terrain and rolling hills. Camper activities expand as campers age, and the program offers more than 75 activities, including high adventure options and the OTX Waterpark.

The mission of Camp OTX is to be the premier Texas Hill Country summer camp, with a focus on individual attention and world-class programming. During morning activity periods, each child selects activities to create a unique schedule, and there is structured free time in the afternoon for exploring and trying new activities. Camp OTX customizes each camper’s schedule based on individual interests, abilities, and goals while also including shared experiences. The camp structures cabin groups and the overall program to support connections within cabins and across the larger OTX community, and it operates in a wholesome Christian environment. The program states that every camper matters and offers 60 activities and educational classes to participate in.
One parent from San Antonio described a first-time camp experience as positive, noting that the environment was positive and uplifting and that the grounds, location, and facilities were “perfect.” A parent from North Richland Hills shared that their children enjoyed getting to know their counselors and mentioned hearing many life lessons shared by counselors after camp, and also noted appreciation for having “one more strong Christian voice” mentoring their kids. A parent from Cypress reported that their children did not want to leave, spoke highly of the counselors and new friends, and said they were impressed by how easy Camp OTX made it to see photos of their children throughout the day and by the appearance of the camp.
