YMCA of the Golden Crescent Youth Programs

YMCA of the Golden Crescent Youth Programs offers Afterschool Care for Pre-K through 5th Grade, with care Monday-Friday from dismissal to 6:00pm. It also offers Summer Camp for ages 4 years through 5th Grade, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-6:00pm. The Afterschool Program includes the Youth Sports Development Clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-6pm as a free part of the program.

All sites are licensed through the Department of Family & Protective Services and have a Texas Rising Star 4 Star rating. The Y states that its mission is to put Christian principals into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. It also states that financial assistance is available, Annual Campaign funds remain in the local community, CCS is accepted, and scholarships are available.

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open for Afterschool Care. Registration for Summer Camp is closed and stay tuned for summer 2027. Holiday breaks include Fall break, Winter Break and Spring Break. CCS Accepted and scholarships are available. Financial assistance available. Applicants must complete a Financial Assistance application and provide financial documentation for consideration. You MUST receive confirmation of payment and enrollment prior to child’s attendance.
