UTRGV Summer Camps offer STEM programs, art programs, and fitness programs. The camps include summer sessions that are tailored for children in kindergarten through 12th grade. UTRGV Summer Camps are led under the leadership of Dr. Kelly Nassour. The camps are part of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, which states that it is committed to expanding opportunity through education, research, healthcare, and community engagement, with a focus on empowering student success, strengthening communities, and advancing the Rio Grande Valley and beyond. UTRGV notes that it is the only university in Texas with both a School of Medicine and a School of Podiatric Medicine, and that it has campuses, teaching sites, and specialized centers in multiple South Texas communities, including Edinburg, Brownsville, Rio Grande City, McAllen, Weslaco, Harlingen, Laredo, Port Isabel, and South Padre Island. The university also reports that its Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship is accredited by AACSB International (AACSB).
