Shooting For Success offers basketball activities that include Fundamentals Training, Youth fundamentals training, Basketball Camps, Camps & Clinics, Club Teams, 3v3 Tournament play, and 1:1 and Private Training. The program also runs special events such as the 2026 Spring Break Camp and the 3rd Annual “Par for the Court” Golf Tournament.

• Schedule: 2026 Spring Break Camp runs March 9–13, 2026, Monday through Friday, typically from 8 am to 5 pm.
The 2026 Spring Break Camp includes lunch for participants. Shooting For Success has structured its club teams into multiple levels so that each player gets play time and the chance to grow as a player and person, and it has created developmental teams to support players in reaching a higher level of play. Developmental teams are available for multi-sport athletes who cannot commit to year-round practices but still want repetitions and training needed to make their top school team. Players may be invited to play for the David Jones Select Team, which competes at a high or elite level and travels during open AAU season to compete in ranked tournaments.
Shooting For Success is a youth and elite basketball organization dedicated to teaching athletes the correct fundamentals, a better understanding of the game, and a set of core values. The organization states that it does not just develop better basketball players but grows better people and is dedicated to helping players develop the right mechanics and values to guide them on and off the court. It provides a positive and encouraging environment where athletes foster a strong work ethic and discipline, and its coaches and trainers lead by example with the expectation that SFS athletes do the same.
Shooting For Success employs coaches who have played at the elite or pro level and has full access to gym space. The founder, David “DJ” Jones, is a former professional player whose basketball career spanned over 13 years. The leadership team includes David “DJ” Jones, Coach Deandra Haggray, and Coach Alex Jones. Alex Jones became the youngest certified NBPA agent at age 23 and develops individualized training programs each summer to support player growth.
Shooting For Success is a registered AAU organization and a subscribed member with the Jr. NBA organization. The program states that it does not cut players but develops them and is proud to train players to play at the next level.
