Camp Longhorn offers more than 25 different activities, including many water activities such as blobs, water socs, water skiing, and a three story zip line into the water. Campers also take part in horseback riding, surfing, ropes courses, trolleys, campfire activities, roasting marshmallows, watching a movie on the giant outdoor screen, the Longhorn Cup, dance night, movie night, carnival, and Church Mountain.

Camp Longhorn was created in 1939 by Tex and Pat Robertson and has more than 85 years of history since its founding. Camp Longhorn Indian Springs opened in 1975, and a third branch, C3 on Inks Lake, opened in 2016. The program states that “Everybody is Somebody!” and focuses on fun, not competition, while emphasizing participation rather than competition across all three branches. Counselors are selected for leadership, patience, sense of responsibility, and fun-loving spirit, with one counselor for every four campers, and they live in the cabins with campers. Junior counselors are chosen from older campers and are trained under the supervision of senior counselors and camp directors. Older campers can join leadership, team-building, and counselor training programs including Marine & Marina, Wrangler, Chief, and Ranger programs. Cabins are open-air, with twelve campers assigned to each cabin by school grade, and campers share the same daily activities, special programs, and cabin experience at each camp. Camp Longhorn is family run, is a member of C.A.M.P., and is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
