Before & After School Care is part of the Armed Services YMCA Killeen’s licensed before and after school care offerings. The program is included in the organization’s after-school and resiliency programs for school-age children and is one of its affordable, quality child care options.
• Schedule: Program hours may vary; the ASYMCA Killeen Child Care Center office is open Monday–Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
• Price: Programs and services for troops and their families are offered at no or low cost and require no dues or membership fees.
The Armed Services YMCA has been “Strengthening Our Military Family®” since 1861 and is the oldest military support organization in the United States. Its mission is to enhance the lives of military members and their families in spirit, mind, and body through programs relevant to the challenges of military life. It is specifically dedicated to serving active duty junior enlisted military service members and their families from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard. The organization offers licensed day camps, licensed before and after school care, parent-child early education opportunities, emergency food relief for military families, holiday travel assistance for military families, drop-in child care at the military hospital, and resiliency programs for military children.
