Navarro College Youth Programs

Navarro College Youth Programs include Kids College workshops and several sports camps. Kids College offers fun workshops, and activities for Kids College vary by campus. Sports activities include baseball fundamentals such as hitting, fielding, throwing mechanics, and base running, as well as soccer skills and volleyball skills including serving, serve receiving, forearm passing, setting, attacking, team defense, blocking, team reception, attack coverage, and team transition.

Navarro College was chartered in 1946. The Baseball Camp is run by the Navarro College Baseball coaching staff. The Soccer Kids Day Camp features a staff of college head and assistant coaches, as well as current Navarro College Soccer players. The Navarro College Baseball Camp is designed to teach players fundamentals of the baseball game. The Navarro College Soccer Kids Day Camp is designed to teach players new soccer skills while being efficient and effective when playing games. Kids Day Camp players will be exposed to the next level of soccer and will be given the chance to compete in one of the most competitive camp atmospheres in the country, and the Kids Day Camp has a limited enrollment. The Navarro College Volleyball All Skills Camps are specially designed to meet the needs of athletes entering grades Middle School–12th and focus on all aspects of the game with an emphasis on fundamentals, and campers are skill-tested and placed in a group of similar age and ability. Kids College registration starts in May. Navarro College operates under the policies established by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) and under the direction of the locally elected Navarro College Board of Trustees.
