Dance Central offers Creative Movement, Ballet/Tap Combination Class, Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combination Class, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Dance Acro, Lyrical, Drill Team Prep, Leaps & Turns, and Strengthening and Conditioning. Dance Acro includes balancing, limbering, tumbling, and partnering, and the program lists ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, and musical theatre attire requirements.
Programs
- Creative Movement — Ages 2.5 - 3.5 Years
- Ballet/Tap Combination Class — Pre-School Classes/Ages 2.5 - 3.5 Years; Kindergarten Classes
- Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combination Class — First Grade Classes
- Ballet — 2nd Grade - High School; at least 7 or going into 2nd grade
- Tap — 2nd Grade - High School; at least 7 or going into 2nd grade
- Jazz — 2nd Grade - High School; at least 7 or going into 2nd grade
- Hip Hop — 2nd Grade - High School; at least 8 years old or in 2nd grade
- Dance Acro — 2nd Grade - High School; at least 8 years old or 2nd grade · Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength. Dance Central instructors are certified in Acrobatic Arts.
- Lyrical — 2nd Grade - High School; at least 9 years old or 3rd grade · Must be currently enrolled in ballet and jazz. Minimum of 2 years of ballet and jazz training.
- Drill Team Prep — 2nd Grade - High School; at least in 6th grade
- Leaps & Turns — 6th grade and up · Must be at least an Intermediate-level dancer to participate. Classes are not conducive to an elementary school student's schedule, as they may be held during school or later at night.
- Strengthening and Conditioning — 6th grade and up · Must be at least an Intermediate-level dancer to participate. Classes are not conducive to an elementary school student's schedule, as they may be held during school or later at night.

About the provider
Dance Central, LLC formed in 2003 in Cypress, Texas, and Danielle Shoaf opened the program in March 2003. The leadership team includes Danielle Shoaf, Owner and Director; Bernadette Patten, Instructor; Lulu Santos, Instructor; and Andee Wilson, Instructor. Danielle Shoaf has a Bachelor of Science in Dance Management from Oklahoma City University and is a member of the Texas Association Teachers of Dancing. Bernadette Patten earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts from San Francisco State University. Andee Wilson won awards for solo, duet/trio, and ensemble routines, received scholarships from Dance Educators of America and the 'I Love Dance' Pageant and Dance Competition, and was named Miss Teen Dance Educators of America at age 13.
