• Ages: 1–18 years old
From the first ASI location in Mesquite, which opened in 1991, ASI Gymnastics has offered gymnastics in Texas for more than 30 years. ASI Gymnastics is led by owners David and Debi Holley. ASI Gymnastics states that safety is the top priority, with teaching priorities of safety, fun, and skill acquisition, and emphasizes physical, emotional, and mental development, progressive skill and confidence building, and continued enjoyment of the sport. The program offers a free trial class and operates eight locations in North Texas and two in the Houston area.
Parents and caregivers have shared feedback such as calling it “always an amazing party” with kids having a blast and staff coordinating everything, and describing it as a “wonderful place for a birthday party” where families get the whole gym to themselves. Other comments mention organized and attentive coaches who make sure kids have fun and stay safe, staff who encourage children and support onboarding into new programs, and coaching that combines training with care for a child’s well-being. Families have noted that both boys and girls take classes there, that it is “a wonderful place for jumping, tumbling, exercising,” and that ASI has “done a really good job of putting together programs for kids of all ages.” One parent shared that their two girls look forward to going to summer camp each week and talk about positive female role models at ASI.
