Dallas United Crew offers rowing and dragon boating, along with team building and community races. Participants include youth and masters rowers, first-timers and national qualifiers, veterans, adaptive athletes, and survivor dragon-boat crews. The program includes six programs across a range of ages and abilities and uses both a boathouse and an indoor training site for rowing, racing, and events.

Dallas United Crew was founded in 2002 and has more than 20 years of history uniting Dallas through rowing. Its mission is “To Unite And Empower The Dallas Community Through Rowing And Dragon Boating.” Dallas United Crew is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization. The organization offers scholarships, adaptive equipment, veteran and survivor crews, and a true no-experience start, supported by a scholarship fund that keeps cost from deciding who gets to row. Corporate crews and company team-building programs participate alongside citywide races, including a signature event called Row Dallas, a day of racing with the whole city at the lake. Volunteers support regattas, events, and boathouse operations, and Dallas United Crew describes itself as a nonprofit organization that Dallas builds and that gives Dallas a reason to meet at the lake.
