The program is described as a character development center and as a personal development system as well as a self-defense system. Classes are grouped by age to provide age-appropriate instruction, and the CLMA training curriculum focuses on three specific age groups: Pre-school Karate Kids, Karate Kids, and Teens & Adults. The program offers martial arts and fitness for all ages, with specialized programs that accommodate children, teenagers, adults, and those with special needs. America's Best Karate of El Paso is designed to develop black belts from the inside out, and it states that no one sits on the bench at America's Best Karate of El Paso.

America's Best Karate of El Paso maintains a staff of highly skilled, thoroughly educated adult professionals, and the program states that it has no student instructors, only adult professionals. America's Best Karate of El Paso instructors are trained professionals at teaching the character building traits that develop black belts from the inside out, and the program states that its instructors are tops in the industry and are experts in what they do. The leadership team includes General Manager Christian Arias, who is a third-degree black belt, began his martial arts journey at America's Best Karate when he was five years old, and has been in the program for 36 years. America's Best Karate has been serving the Greater El Paso area since 1988 and is a member of Black Belt Schools International.

Sara Gonzalez stated that everybody at AB Karate is professional, friendly, and welcoming, and that the program helped her child gain confidence and grow. Nicholes Rosales described the facility as very clean and the staff as great, super friendly, courteous, attentive, and welcoming, and said the introductory period gave their family time to learn about the program and decide on joining, with an easy and accommodating process. Cynthia Avila shared that her daughter was in karate for about three or four years, loved it, and had wonderful instructors, and that she is grateful for what they taught her. Vanessa Prieto described America's Best Karate as an excellent program for kids, and said her son grew in self-confidence while having fun and learning self-defense, and that the staff is kind, patient, and friendly.
