Snapology El Paso Discovery Center & Community Programs offers hands-on activities such as robotics, coding, animation, computer learning, movie-making, drones, and stop-motion animation. Children take part in engineering design challenges, including specific themes like Star Wars Challenge, Engineering Challenge, Amusement Park Adventures Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Space Science, and build robotic models that move, make sounds, and respond to sensors. Snapology El Paso Discovery Center & Community Programs offers year-round STEAM learning programs where instructors use fun, hands-on activities to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Programs use LEGO bricks, K’Nex, and technology and are based on research showing children learn best when actively designing, creating, and exploring. The Discovery Center includes scheduled classes, creative play areas, and an indoor play center with building toys and interactive play areas for children of all ages, with regular Creative Play Hours where adults are not charged to join children in play. Kids 5 and older can explore the Discovery Center on their own, while younger children require a parent, and there is an option to add Urban Air Adventure Park playtime before or after class in the Snapology Classroom located inside that facility.
Programs are offered as after-school programs, summer camps, workshops, field trips, birthday parties, assemblies, and custom events. Snapology brings all the instructional and educational toys needed to host STEAM programs, camps, and parties. Programs are offered in community centers, schools, and other public spaces throughout the community, including for schools, community groups, scouting groups, and special events for schools and groups. For scout groups, Snapology provides a dedicated Snapologist to teach as scouts work in pairs to promote team building, with optional Snapology patches available at an additional cost and programs tailored to help Girl Scouts work toward STEM badges.
