Children's Lighthouse Early Learning Schools was founded more than twenty-five years ago, with the first school opening in 1997. The Children's Lighthouse Franchise Company system is accredited by Cognia®, and each school is independently owned and operated. The Lighthouse BRIGHT® curriculum supports the development of higher thinking skills at early ages, and preschool children use the CARES® curriculum, which includes The Learning Wall, Learning Lesson Session, Centers That Shine, and 3E: Outdoor Curriculum. School-age children use the xSTREAM Quest® curriculum, which is based on STREAM labs where Questers earn Cog Badges to become a Quest Master. The Lighthouse Pathways® approach to learning is based on years of experience and research to support families in their educational journey. The program is family-owned and operated, and the Childrens Lighthouse Franchise Company system is accredited by Cognia®. The Director of Education and Training, Dr. Kristi Smith, focuses on partnering with families to provide educational materials that lay the groundwork for lifelong academic success. The mission of Children's Lighthouse is: "We Create a Safe, Fun, and Happy Place That Gives Your Child Confidence, a Sense of Comfort Today, and a Lifelong Love of Learning, Friendship, and Community."
