Clayton Youth Enrichment offers hands-on activities from its Clayton Quest research-based life skills curriculum. The program includes before and after school care, school day enrichment, holiday camps for school holidays, CAMP CLAYTON summer camps, and child development center programs that prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond. Camp Clayton Adventure Camp is officially ACA Accredited.

For over 50 years, Clayton Youth Enrichment has provided programs for children, starting from its beginnings at Lily B. Clayton Elementary in 1975, and this school year marks the organization’s 50th Anniversary. The mission of Clayton Youth Enrichment is “Preparing Children for Great Lives.” The organization hires compassionate professionals who receive comprehensive training, and offers competitive salaries, paid training, holidays, vacation, sick leave, and a 401 K plan with employment match for staff. The leadership team includes Jason Ray, Chief Executive Officer; Dr. Kevin Hood, Director of Programs; Brittany Lee, Director of Finance; Drew Brock, Director of Human Resources; and Meryl Gunter, Director of Advancement.
Clayton Youth Enrichment works closely with local school districts to complement classroom learning and support essential life skills, and partners with school districts and communities to offer several options for working families needing care for their children. The organization notes that partnering with the community makes it stronger and that a merger between Clayton Youth Enrichment and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is complete, creating an organization that will serve 100,000+ youth annually across North Texas. The program states that there is no waitlist and that financial assistance is available, and it intends to apply for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Cycle 13 grant.
