Pine Cove Shores High School Overnight Camp is a week of Christian sleepaway camp that includes activities such as wakeboarding, slick track go-carts, theme nights, high-energy worship sessions, and pickleball. Campers also have access to Big Blue, which features water basketball, a blob, and a giant trapeze, as well as the Air Track, Espionage, and the Slick Track.

Pine Cove Shores High School Overnight Camp is designed for 10th–12th grade students and is phone-free for both campers and staff. High schoolers are unplugged and engaged with one another through activities and moments of rest and connection, and Gospel conversations happen during activities as teaching moments. Christ-centered counselors invest in campers to encourage them to follow Jesus, and campers are seen and known for who God made them to be, with their God-given character traits celebrated. Camp gives kids opportunities to practice courage, perseverance, and teachability under the watchful eye of caring, trained counselors. Two-week programs at Pine Cove offer unique and exclusive experiences, including guest speakers, serving alongside staff, and intentionally designed moments to fuel faith. The CampLife App provides photos, digital mail, announcements, and more as a digital window into the camper’s week. All Pine Cove Texas overnight youth camps have added new PA speaker systems for streamlined communication, and staff and campers participate in weekly safety walkthroughs.
Pine Cove has more than five decades of experience and is an accredited organization. All Pine Cove Texas camps have officially received their state licenses for 2026 from the Department of State Health Services in accordance with the Texas Camp Safety Act. Pine Cove’s mission is inspiring campers to walk intimately with Jesus, and the ultimate goal is to inspire every camper to walk more intimately with their Savior, Jesus Christ. Pine Cove is described as Christ-centered, others-focused, and seriously fun.
The leadership team for Pine Cove Shores includes Hayden “Mr. Polar Behr” Weaver as Director, Avery “Queen Juice” Fink as Associate Director, Lane “Taco Bell” Bloomer as Men’s Director, and Amour “Skip” Alier as Women’s Director. Hayden Weaver spent three summers on staff at the Shores before joining the full-time Pine Cove City team as a Site Director, transitioned back to the Shores as the Men’s Director in fall 2021, and in 2024 accepted the role as Camp Director; he is from Vilonia, Arkansas, and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas. Avery Fink served four summers on staff at the Shores, spent one year as a site director for Pine Cove City, and three summers as the Women’s Director before stepping into the Associate Director role; she graduated from Baylor University in 2019 and completed the Pine Cove Forge leadership program in 2020, and Avery and her husband, Landon, got married in April of 2023. Lane Bloomer served three years on summer staff at the Shores before graduating from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Biblical Studies & Christian Ministry, and he joined the full-time team at the Shores in 2024 as the Men’s Director; Lane and his wife Lainey got married in June of 2024 and had their son in December 2025. Amour Alier served on summer staff for two summers at the Timbers before graduating from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Nursing, and originally from Dallas, Texas, Amour joined the full-time team at the Shores in 2026 as the Women’s Director.
Pine Cove counselors and staff are described as Christ-centered, caring, trained, and Jesus-loving college staffers. Safety measures include emergency action plans, staff screening, and medical care. One camper parent shared that a counselor had experienced some of the exact struggles their son was dealing with and was able to minister directly to him, encourage him, and point him to the gospel and the need for accountability. A camper shared that after completing a final year as a camper, they had never felt more true to who they are in Christ and thanked the Lord for the encouraging community of believers.
