City of Friona Swimming Pool Lessons offers swimming lessons, open swim times, pool rentals, pool parties, and water aerobics. The swimming pool provides swimming lessons for kids 3 and up, with classes held in 1-hour sessions over a 2-week period. Pool Splash Passes are available for purchase, including Family, Individual, 30-Day, and 5-Day options.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: The pool opens on June 7, 2025, with open swim Tuesday–Saturday in the afternoon and swimming lessons offered in 1-hour classes over 2-week sessions on weekday mornings in June and July.

The 2025 lifeguard team includes Abasai Torres, Stephanie Cruz, Kitzy Welch, William Husted, Eden Mills, and Reese Steelman, with Amberly Madrid, Pool Assistant Manager JJ Trevino, and Pool Manager Malachi Torres, and pool cashiers Leslie Ortiz and Kayden Rejino. The City of Friona also operates municipal services such as water and wastewater, a local police department, emergency medical services, public works, a library, municipal court, and general administrative staff, and fire service protection is provided by an all-volunteer fire department. The City has launched the Keep Friona Clean Campaign to remind residents of the importance of waste management and sustainability, code compliance, and street and traffic sign restoration.
