D-BAT Frisco Camps & Clinics offers camps and clinics that use batting cages, lessons, and other baseball and softball training activities. D-BAT Frisco is a 21,842 square foot indoor, climate-controlled facility with 16 batting cages that throw real baseballs and softballs, professional instructors, and a pro shop. The facility is described as state-of-the-art, exceptionally well-lit, and includes an environment that invites parents to be part of their ballplayer’s development. Offerings include developmental youth camps, private lessons, and memberships with discounts on lessons, camps, and merchandise, as well as birthday party rentals with options ranging from DIY to all inclusive. The pro shop carries a full line of products including wood bats, gloves, batting gloves, and baseball and softball accessories. For all day camps, participants are asked to bring a sack lunch, water, equipment, and wear athletic shoes (no cleats), and for evening or hourly camps or clinics they are asked to bring water, equipment, and wear athletic shoes.
D-BAT was founded in 1998 by Cade and Kyle Griffis, and D-BAT began franchising operations in 2008. The CEO is Cade Griffis. The organization states that its mission is to provide a quality teaching environment with quality instruction to enhance the baseball experience for players at all levels from little league through the pros. D-BAT is described as the largest network of training facilities in the country and is considered the premier facility in the country. The staff at D-BAT Frisco are described as professional instructors who “don't just know baseball and softball - they live and breathe it.”
